A site controller and battery strategy that clips your monthly demand peak, designed from your interval data and paired with a commercial battery.
From $14,900 (Controller + integration, before battery), including GST. Indicative starting price: the final fixed price is confirmed in writing after a site assessment.
When demand charges are set by short peaks, a battery can supply the site during those moments so the grid sees a lower maximum. Doing this well takes more than a battery on a timer. A peak shaving system measures site demand in real time, discharges only when demand approaches the target, keeps enough energy in reserve for the next peak and recharges from solar or lower-cost grid power.
We model your interval data to set the target peak and battery size, then design, install and commission the controller and site integration. Pricing starts from $14,900 for the controller and integration, before the battery. This is an indicative starting price; the final fixed price is confirmed in writing after data analysis, design and a site assessment.
We design commercial solar and batteries around where energy costs actually come from, and demand charges are often the biggest opportunity. We can pair the controller with a commercial battery from the ranges we install, such as Sigenergy, GoodWe, Fox ESS or Sungrow, depending on the size and site. We are a New Energy Tech Approved Seller with $20 million public liability cover, and installation is by our licensed electricians and SAA-accredited installers.
Commercial and industrial sites with high demand charges, short sharp peaks and a new or planned commercial battery.
The battery is not included in the listed price. The controller and integration are priced separately because battery size depends on your peaks.
From 1 September 2026, NSW offers incentives for eligible business batteries from 20 kWh up to large commercial and industrial scale. NSW indicates around 30-40% of battery installation cost for eligible combined solar-and-battery installations, depending on circumstances, with the value set by the certificate market. Confirm current values on the official NSW business energy page before signing. Results depend on how predictable your peaks are, as long or back-to-back peaks need more storage. Grid-connected batteries require network approval, and some sites need protection upgrades.
1. Request an assessment and share your interval data and recent bills.
2. We model your peaks and present battery size options with estimated peak reductions.
3. You receive a design and fixed written quote for the controller, integration and battery.
4. We lodge the network application and schedule installation once approved.
5. Our licensed electricians and SAA-accredited installers install and commission the system.
6. We review performance against your bills and refine the control settings.
The listed price is an indicative starting price for the controller and integration only; the battery is quoted separately.
The final fixed price is confirmed in writing after data analysis, design and a site assessment.
Installation requires network approval and may need building owner or owners corporation approval.
Estimated peak reductions are based on historical data and are not assured.
Incentive eligibility and values are checked before signing and may change.
