A battery of 200 kWh or more is a significant capital investment, and its value depends on several benefits working together: reducing demand charges, storing surplus solar, shifting energy away from peak tariffs and any incentives that apply. Our Large-Scale Battery Feasibility study tests each of those against your real data and site conditions, and sets out a business case your finance team can scrutinise.

We design commercial systems around interval data first, because a battery sized to a round number or to available floor space does not always deliver the best return. We install commercial batteries and hybrid inverters from Sigenergy, GoodWe, Fox ESS and Sungrow, so costs in the business case reflect equipment we would actually install. Our installers are SAA-accredited and all electrical work is done by our licensed electricians.

From 1 September 2026, NSW offers incentives for eligible business batteries up to large commercial and industrial scale, and NSW indicates around 30-40% of battery installation cost for eligible combined solar-and-battery installations, depending on circumstances. The value is set by the certificate market, so confirm it on the official NSW page before signing.
Large batteries usually need a detailed network connection application, and the network may require protection settings, export limits or studies that affect cost and timing. Payback depends on your tariff, operating patterns, battery performance and future prices. Blue Energy Solar holds $20 million public liability cover.
